Uckfield’s Zoe Blundell can’t believe her luck. This week she has scooped three prizes in two draws … and it’s her birthday tomorrow (Saturday).
Zoe, who lives on Manor Park Estate, with her 11-year-old son Roman, says she doesn’t normally win anything so she was very “shocked, pleased and excited” with all these successes.
The run of luck began at the weekend when Zoe, who was helping out at a fair in Ridgewood, won a meal for two at the Highlands Inn and also a trip to Drusillas the zoo near Alfriston.
Then on Monday estate agents Peter Oliver picked out Zoe’s name as the winner of a night away and spa break treat for two at Alexander House Hotel and Utopia Spa, at Turners Hill, with afternoon tea provided.
Their competition was run on Facebook and Zoe’s name was picked at random from more than 320 entries.
Congratulations flowed in from other entrants when she was announced as the winner.
Zoe, who was born and raised in Uckfield, works at Freedom Leisure, and before that was at Gunnebo on the Bellbrook Industrial Estate, for 13 years.
She says son Roman will accompany her for the meal out at The Highlands but her mother Janice Blundell will join her on the spa break.
Peter Oliver directors Owen Badman and Nick Gulliver said they were delighted to present Zoe with her prize and they hoped she would enjoy it as a nice post-Christmas treat.
