Jewellery stolen in New Place, Uckfield, raid

Burglars struck at a house in New Place, Uckfield, and stole jewellery.

Now Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to the raid which occurred between 7 and 10 pm last Tuesday (April 4).

Various items of jewellery were taken including some distinctive pieces, the police said.

The haul included a pair of silver cufflinks engraved ‘MC’, a silver Marcarsite brooch of a deer with a red eye, an enamelled brooch of a dachshund dog and a pair of Montblanc-make silver cufflinks.
