Hunt for missing Uckfield cats

Update, Saturday, March 31: Boris has been found. It seems he was hit by a car just off Rocks Road. We have also added links to pictures of two other cats which have been missing from Uplands Close since last October and November with nothing heard of them since.

Owners of two cats missing in Uckfield are appealing to Uckfield News readers to help find them.

Spiro, a ten-month-old British Blue cross Bengal cat, went missing on Wednesday, March 14, from Forge Close.

Boris, a black and white domestic long-haired cat, has been missing from Lashbrooks Road since Wednesday, March 21.

Spiro is neutered, micro-chipped and wears a brown and green collar with bell and ID tag – though this may have come off. He is a light grey spotted cat with green eyes.

His owner Karen Dowding says Spiro is extremely friendly and inquisitive so may be trapped in a garage or out-building. Karen can be contacted on 07525 742061 or by email on ian.dowding@sky.com.

Boris was last seen near Shortbridge heading towards Isfield. He is neutered, doesn't wear a collar but is microchipped. He is easily distinguishable by the small black spot on his lower lip/chin. Owner Rebecca Heath says the spot makes him look as if he has a goatee beard.
