A woman was taken to the specialist neurological unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, by helicopter, on Monday (April 10).
The patient was suffering from head injuries after an accident at Nutley, which involved a horse.
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance landed in a field near the patient, who had head injuries.
South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended.
The helicopter was called at 1.10pm.
