And gardening equipment was also stolen from a shed in Framfield Road, Buxted, sometime between 11pm on Monday, September 18, and 6.30am on Tuesday, September 19.

Robert White, chairman of Piltdown Residents’ Association, and Piltdown Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator said on the Uckfield Crime Facebook group that sheds and garages seemed to be a favourite target. This had happened quite recently in Piltdown.
