Future looks bright for The Flower Shop in Uckfield High Street

Eighteen months after moving her business to the top of Uckfield High Street Lisa Hepburn says the future is looking bright.

Yes, there are still High Street improvement works to be done outside The Flower Shop, at number 184, but there’s been a flurry of activity recently as other business have prepared to open a few shops away.

Chapter Three opened on Monday, at 176 High Street, and Cheese Etc are hoping to open on Monday, July 11, at 168.

Lisa said: “It’s good to see new businesses opening in this part of the High Street.”

Weddings

This is a busy time of year for the florist as she and her team create displays for weddings but also continue to prepare floral tributes and arrangements for businesses as well as for anniversary, birthday and celebrations.

Lisa also sells other gifts, including chocolates, and hires accessories for weddings such as lanterns, wicker pots, bay trees, chair covers, and candelabras.

Long-standing customers still pop in to the shop, following The Flower Shop’s move from 128 High Street but she also has an online shop and can take telephone orders.
