Kirsten said she was looking forward to watching them in the finals.
The Sussex heat of RAD South East Awards was held at Brighton College, on Sunday, February 26.
The awards are run bi-annually and heats are held in five counties in the South East culminating in the grand final in London at the RAD headquarters in May.
The competition is open to RAD registered teachers in Sussex and the children need to have passed a relevant grade for their class to qualify for entry.
More than 120 students took part from across Sussex and only a few students in each class were selected as finalists.
The judge Darren Parish studied at the Australian Ballet School and is a freelance international teacher and former professional dancer.
The finals are usually judged by a celebrity such as Wayne Sleep in 2015 and Lauren Cuthbertson and Gary Avis from the Royal Ballet in 2013.
