CrossFit Uckfield has moved to new premises and become one of the biggest CrossFit gyms in the UK.
There is now more than 4,000 sq ft of gym floor, a yoga/pilates studio, therapy room and a kids’ room.
The gym is still in the grounds of Crockstead Farm Hotel but the building is four time the size of the previous one.
Krish Stevens, who launched CrossFit Uckfield five years ago is holding an open day on Sunday, December 3 – the same date as Crockstead Farm Hotel’s Christmas market.
The gym will be open from 11am to 3pm for people to have a look around, chat to coaches and members and see what they do there.
Kris says they offer classes suitable for beginners, regular gym bunnies and elite athletes.
She says: “Try our FitClub classes – these are whole body workouts, focusing on core strengthening, muscle toning and fitness, with no heavy weight or complex movements. If you are nervous about CrossFit, FitClub it is a either a great stepping stone to CrossFit or a viable alternative.
“CrossFit Classes are higher intensity and use all manner of interesting objects to get you fitter and stronger than you imagined you could be – they are suitable for everyone from five years old to 105 years (everything is scaled to the individual) and every class is fully coached to ensure safety and great quality movement throughout.
“We also offer children’s Junior Hero Academy Classes, teens’ CrossFit Classes, Personal Training and Physical Therapy.
“Our job, as your coaches, is to get you the best results possible and we can only do that if you can get in regularly. You are only going to get in regularly if you remain injury-free and motivated.
“We take great pride in teaching good quality, safe movement and including CrossFit-specific stretching and mobility post-workout.
“And our wonderful community of kind, supporting individuals with our constantly varied, fully-coached and fun programming means you can look forward to the best hour of your day at CrossFit Uckfield!
