Community comes together at Bonners Primary School

Parents and staff laid on a feast of cakes at Bonners Primary School, Maresfield, this afternoon to boost the Macmillan Biggest Coffee Morning in the World appeal.

All the money raised was going to Macmillan Cancer Support and Toni Birkbeck, the school’s office manager said it was wonderful to see so many people getting involved in the event both by baking and attending.

She added: “This charity is really important to a lot of us at the school and this is a lovely community thing to do.”
