As new people join the SLM Toyota team in Uckfield long servers are also celebrating their time with the company.
Marketing manager Mel Ball, for example, will have been with the company for 31 years next month.
New to the team are service manager Vince Riseborough, sales controller Stewart Holter, and sales executive Dave Fever.
Vince has worked in the motor trade for 29 years, taking on many different roles including qualified technician, motor accessory shop manager, service advisor, and service team manager.
He has previously worked for Audi, BMW, SEAT, and many other companies, and at SLM Toyota he is enjoying seeing his staff progress and improve. He adds it is good to receive compliments from customers about the level of service.
Outside work Vince enjoys spending time with his family and attending motorsports events. He goes with his son to the Brighton speed trials each year and takes part in competitive go karting. He also enjoys the cinema, seeing the world and working on, and modifying, his Mk1 MX5 Eunos Roadster.
Stewart has worked in the motor trade for just over three years – all of them within the SLM Toyota group.
Before starting at Uckfield he was sales executive at the Hastings dealership and says he was attracted to move because he can see the potential of the Uckfield site and wants to use his knowledge to help make a difference.
Outside work Stewart enjoys family days out, watching Brighton Hove Albion at The Amex and marshalling at Brands Hatch.
Dave has worked in the motor industry for more than 45 years so brings a wealth of experience to the company.
He started a month ago and says the most rewarding part of his job is seeing satisfied customers drive away from the centre.
Dave’s hobbies include gardening, playing golf, and DIY.
