Antime Fitness holds its grand opening party

Anytime Fitness the 24-hour gym in Uckfield is holding its grand opening party tonight (Monday, February 5).

All are welcome to call in until 9pm to enjoy a drink and food, and take the opportunity of signing up for free membership this month.

There’s music with Tudor Tudot, tours of the gym are available for first-time visitors, and there’s a raffle with funds raised going to the Make a Wish Foundation.

While some were partying this evening at Anytime Fitness others were hard at work but still enjoying themselves.

The gym at Suite 4, Bell Walk, has top of the range Life Fitness equipment for cardio, strength, and resistance training, free weights, functional – a new form of training using different apparatus – a spin studio and classes in the main areas.

The gym is already planning to expand and awaiting planning permission to open a studio in neighbouring accommodation which will give more space for classes such as yoga, pilates and  Les Mills classes.

Nisha Patel who owns the gym with her husband Rinesh said they already have hundreds of members just weeks after opening in December and they are , so far, mainly making use of the facilities until 1am and after 4am.

“Security is in place and everyone has a key fob enabling them to tap in and out and this seems to work well for different shifts and lifestyles.
