Another boost for Uckfield as former Fun-Net Cafe is let

The former Fun-Net Café in Uckfield High Street has been let.

News come hot on the heels of the letting of the Online Coffee building next to the River Uck and the railway station, which is being readied for re-opening with a new name and image.

Agents, Oldfield Smith and Co said there was good demand for shop premises in Uckfield, set against “relatively low availability”.

Partner Richard Oldfield has previously told UckfieldNews.com that a “lovely business” would be moving in to the old Fun-Net Café.

It is going to be a vintage tearoom, opening on May 13.

The premises comprise an open plan shop, on the ground floor with a kitchen to the rear, as well as lobby with door to outside.

Steps lead to lower ground floor fitted with cloakroom, and store.

Mr Oldfield said a new lease has been entered into on quoting rent. The new tenants will be carrying out a programme of refurbishment works prior to opening

He added: “If you have surplus space available please contact us for a free no obligation appraisal.  Please call us on 01825 762222.”
